hi,does anyone knows if its possible to use the nav screen as a display for a rear view camera. any advice!

well its plug n play, but you gotta rip the whole dash apart to get to what you need to get too.

I had to do alot of experimenting on how to connect the wire.

I made a thread about it.

is it hard to transform non iDrive nav to iDrive Nav for the Z4? That extra compartment where the screen should go is kind of useless, would be nice to install a touch screen there and have it automatically pop up.

It prob is very difficult and not worth it.

you would be better of trading in your z4 for one with idrive.

i think its gonna cost you more then the factory unit whitout the reliability and perfect fit.
