It won't hurt sitting outside with snow on it but if they try to remove it they can damage the finish. Would be better to let it sit and allow the snow to melt off without being brushed. Hopefully this weather will improve but the wife just told me we can expect another 6-8" late this weekend into next week. I'm glad my car is still on the ship.

We got another 4" overnight. I guess I'll find out if the roof of the Z4 leaks or not.

my roof has had a ton of snow on it and lots of car washes with a wand by hand.. not a drop of leaking yet.

Looks like you're getting the snow we've had in the Uk for the past two months.....the Zed's better off where it is mine was shocking in the snow!!
By the way no leaks on my roof and we have had some really bad weather so don't worry.

Can I call you for a push down Baum Blvd? I figure I can slide down Bigelow Blvd given the downhill slope.

I can't wait till Saturday when I make this car mine officially and then change my signature on this forum. Should be in the low 30's but with the sun out, the roads should clear up.

I noticed the same thing when I picked up my car but there weren't that many scratches just in a few places. As suggested I would have them redetail the vehicle and place it in the showroom until you get back. Of course have it locked so the 400lb customer won't try to convince his wife he can fit in the car. The additional time will give the stealership the time to make good on the problems and fix scratches...you have too much time, energy and money invested in this car...It needs to be RIGHT.

LOL! Better yet, find a trailer and I'll tow it to your home for you with my truck.
I hope the weather is all clear by then. Just put the top down and crank up the heat and heated seats on the way home! Good luck with the Z4, I'm jealous!

i understand your frustration with your dealer, but remember it's just a car. i baby my cars too, so i feel your pain, but everything will be perfect when you get her. if not explain to the dealer all that you have told us and they will make it right. snow is not going to hurt anything, and it may be safer in its parking spot outside then some one brushing against it indoors (or worse).

best of luck with your new ride, you are going to love your Z!

I would NOT put it in the showroom. Every A$$hole in Pittsburgh can try and sit in it or at least put their grimy hands all over it. Let it sit outside until you are ready to take it home. Good luck, more snow and ice this weekend.

When I finalize the day I will complete the deal, I'll make it clear that everything should be in order with the car. My money will be in order, so I should expect the same right?

Well it all worked out. No issues with the delivery. The Z4, now known as Bruce, is home

Good Luck with Bruce!!!

Wasn't there an issue with the trim on the dash?
How did the dealer handle that?

The issue as resolved that I was given a credit with the dealership for service or any parts I may order. I got worked up for nothing. The only thing missing were the floormats which are now on order at no extra cost.

Glad everything worked out OK, just don't try it in the snow with the summer tires on. I got stuck 4 times in front of my driveway and there isn't a lot of room under these things to dig in. Once the stuff froze I was Ok if I went really slow and hit the DCT button once to the "traction" setting.

Enjoy.....

Already on. Purchased from StubbyAntenna.com a couple of months ago.
I have the comfort roof access module to install as well.
