Congrats on the new wheels. Glad there weren't any real issues.

I'm so glad I got blizzaks. 17'' wheels looks crap but at least I get to drive it, even in the snow. Don't know what I'd do if my zed was just sitting in the garage unable to drive. Probably lose my mind.
I'm glad you got the car back without any problems
now let's hope the weather warms up quickly so we can all enjoy the true roadster feeling!

If this weather in the NE US doesn't change my Z may be sitting in the garage for weeks.

IMHO, a dealer credit based on a future purchase is not a quid pro quo. If he had offered you the $500 cash, yes; if he had offered to order the parts and install them at their expense, yes; offering you a dealer credit, no. He'll make money on the dealer credit approach ($500=dealer cost + markup), whereas I sense the dealer felt the parts + shop labor would cost him more than $500 so he did a bate and switch.

However, it is excellent that your were able to get it worked out equably to your satisfaction. You were (or will be) in fact compensated for the mistake which is the key. Now it's behind you and you can enjoy your car.
