yes, on agree to disagree as we all have our opinion - manuals are truly a great joy if you do not get caught in traffic too often. i too love the "control" offered by the manual but we have a DCT. I really wish for the ultimate control that the new Z4 had manual windows, manual locks, no cruise control, no power seats offered, no power steering, no power brakes, no traction control, no stability control, and probably no climate control . . . the list of these wimpy auto features goes on but I digress

again, i think that ferrari making the choice to dct is very telling. However I can certainly understand the manual crowd enjoyment of a manual. I was one and still enjoy it. I dont think its a case of one or the other. Its just a case of modern technology done right.
