Question about front bumper license plate

I travel around a lot for work, staying in different places, but my permanent address is in FL. The Florida DMV only requires one license plate, on the rear of the vehicle; but I bought my Z4 in NY, which requires cars to have one on the rear AND the front.

So the dealer affixed a cardboard cut out with their logo in a dealer branded frame, that I haven't removed. I want to take it off, as I think it will improve the look of the car, but I can tell there's going to be two big holes left. Should I just remove and leave the holes exposed? Or is there something I can fill in there?

You could order some rubber stoppers from mcmaster.com Or get a nice euro plate...

If holes are already drilled, and you don't have to get it filled and repainted, you can use bumper plugs. But they don't look that great IMO.

You can do like I did. I attached my Zoll plate with double sided tape. It covers the holes in the bumper cover and looks great.

bumper plugs or go to a body shop and have them fill the holes and respray the bumper.
