Didn't find anything similar on the forum, i learned a lot from these section in E90/92 forum and X5's so i figured we can all chip in and share some helpful tips and hints about our Z4's

not limited to anything in particular, feel free to share anything you want

That the battery compartment in the trunk isn't completely sealed.
Last week, after severe period of rain, streets were flooded, and the complete battery compartment was filled with water (from below)
I discovered it 5 minuted after the happening by finding a wet macbookpro in the trunk.
Got the water out of it (using cups and hose), but 1 day later a shortcut at the electro motor for the roof caused a party open car (windows, roof (unlock only)) and a locked trunk.
Did get the car back today, seals were fixed, electro motor was replaced.

Beware of this, my Z4 is an early 2009 model, probably fixed in later models.

well it did cover the subject, didn't have to search for it:

First off my comment was towards the OP who started this thread. But since you chimed in... the point of searching first before posting is to see if there is already a thread that covers said subject area. It makes it easier if alike content is combined in just one thread rather than spread over a large amount of threads. Pretty much every forum on the net has a search first policy.
