Of course it's better w/ a higher spd threshold esp if the traffic light switches faster than anticipated and the roof movement is not complete, in order not to look foolish & hold up traffic. Another pt is are we sure that this new feature is an added on the price to the new MY?

I ordered the car prior to the announcement and cannot find any difference in price between this MY and last year. So the answer would be no. Especially considering that there are 2012 models from before March that were sold without this capability, and the price did not change mid year.
