New wheel tire setup for e89 and others. Any thoughts?

[crossposted]

I'm in an e89 lease. The runflats suck and won't last the whole lease.

I want to buy a set of nice wheels that have a chance to be reused on my next car. From what I sniffed around e89 wheels will generally fit f22, e46 and e36, and with some questions in the front of e90s and f30s. That would be awesome. I also want to go square, not staggered.

The way I came up with, confirmed working for e89s:
- 19x8.5
- 245/35r19

Questions:

1) does that have a chance of working out or do I fool myself?

2) could I make an attempt to keep this compatible to e.g. e46 M3s by getting wheels with less offset and use spacers? E.g. get 20mm offset wheels and use 10mm space on the e89? It that pushing the project into stupidity?

3) The BBS SRs pop up in 18x8 for the e89 on tirerack's website. The 19x8.5 pop up for the e90 but not for the e89. Why is that? Spacing seems OK to me. Brakes shouldn't be bigger on the e89 than the e90. Any idea?

Overall I am thinking these wheels, if the SRs don't work out:
Avanti HY HYBRIS

I assume those wheels are a bit fragile but I can live with that.

And the Hankook VENTUS V12 EVO2 245/35ZR19.

I want snappy steering and good grip in wet. If I go autocross it won't be on these wheels. Random thoughts welcome. Want to order soon.

If you want flush fitment. Here is my current setup without any fender modification.

Rear: 19x10 ET25 265/30/19 +5mm spacer
