best interior cleaner for leather & alcantara

I'm having a hard time tracking down a cleaner for alcantara (aka ultraseude or synthetic suede), much less one that can clean both leather and alcantara. The seats on my Ivory White Napa interior are primarily leather, but have bands of alcantara in the backrest. The doors also have an alcantara insert. Any recommendations? Thanks.

You might try this product: http://www.detailersdomain.com/leath...alcantara.aspx. I've never used it myself but have heard it works. I have used a dab of dish soap lathered on a soft towel (it's what Porsche recommends) on several BMW Alcantara steering wheels and it works quite well (don't need to rub too hard).

I use a little Woolite on a damp white terry towel to deal with the black seat belt marks on the driver's seat.

Thanks for the recommendations so far. Leather Master is one of the few commercial products i have seen listed; most come down to a home concoction of some other product and water on a white cotton towel.

I have looked at the Alcantara PDF and website before, but it doesn't recommend any cleaning products, and there are none listed on their site as the PDF suggests. They are frustratingly vague/incomplete/circular with the details.

It is all a mater of choice what cleaner to use. The key is to remove the dirt and then properly condition the leather (as you most likely well know) and as it is simply explained in this short video clip.

Unfortunately, you can't use most leather cleaners on Alcantara, and you definitely can't use any leather conditioners on Alcantara (it would cause stains and spots). So it's a tricky situation when both leather and Alcantara are combined on the same seats.

In the meanwhile I've used it on the alcantara inserts and it does do the job. I used two pieces of microfibre to do the cleaning. The first one wet with a mixture of product/water to remove the stains/dirt and a second one to dry it up. Very easy

But at the time this product was not yet available on the US market, I wonder if it's available now?
Just check with your dealer...

P.S. "Alcantara" has nothing to do with "suede", it's a fully synthetic fabric! So don't use any "leather care" products on it!!!
