Flat tire.

Mrs calls me this morning to tell me the low tire light came on. Luckily she was in front of America's Tire and pulled in. Some how she picked up a nail in the sidewall on the right front. Of course there are no Conti's in stock in the state so I had to run by the house and grab the front run flats to run until a new tire comes in next week. Should be interesting with RFT's up front and non-RFT's in the rear. At least I had the tire insurance from America's. No charge to mount and balance both fronts and no charge for the new tire.

Ouch! That sucks. Sorry to hear. I believe the 235s are still back-ordered everywhere so getting a new one will be tough. I picked up a nail in my passenger rear not two weeks after putting the Contis on. Luckily it wasn't in the sidewall. Hope you get a replacement soon.

Sorry to hear about that. How does one get a nail in the sidewall, presumably a long nail that goes through the bottom tread and reaches to the side?

The crazy thing is there was no nail. Just a tiny puncture in the sidewall. Car is garage kept so I know it's not vandals. Parked it last night with no isuues. Rolled out this morning for work and about a mile from our house the light comes on.

Sucks the 235's are still on B/O. I have been running 225's wait for the 235's to come in. Now I am waiting for a 225 to come up from CA.

That's odd. A bit of a mystery then.

Funny here...

By the way how do nails get on the road, do they belong there or are nails put under your tire by people that don't like you?
