wiper sensitivity?
I finally remembered to ask about this automatic function: it seems mine is not very sensitive, even in its most 'sensitive' setting, so there would be some raindrops on the windscreen and still a while before the wipers operate. I guess it's hard to put into words but wondering if this is commonplace or not.

I thought the little switch was for adjusting the delay, not sensitivity. If I'm wrong I learned something new today..!!!

a lot of other systems turn on when you have the headlights on and the wipers on. e.g. brake drying. i learned that if you set your headlight "auto" sensitivity higher or lower it also affects the wipers when both are on. also don't be surprised if when you come to a stop at a stop light the wipers don't wipe, it's a convenience feature, because the car doesn't know if you pulled into a gas station or something and you're gonna get out of the car, so it stops wiping to avoid throwing water or snow in your face as you get out or as you get in.
