My roof got ridiculously noisy with the cold weather. Today I used that BMW rubber protection spray aka gummi pflege and it took away 90% of the noises. I probably missed some areas/seals and a more thorough job will make the roof silent again. Apply generously onto a cloth and start wiping (the seals).

Tried using that for a while....it does help to reduce some noise. However, I have to take it back in to get the roof re-aligned to completely get rid of the creaking sound. So if you still cannot get it resolved with the lubricant, get the roof realigned.

Thx. However, you're in Singapore...surely nothing classifies as cold weather over there.

Wow...I called around the local BMW dealers and they said that BMW discontinued their Rubber Protectant product w/ no replacement!

So, are there any viable alternatives (short of mail ordering, since I want to get a product fast) from the below link or others I may be able to get locally? Thx.

I'd heard that too and didn't have confirmation, but I believe that is why people were kicking around alternatives.
