2014 Z-4 Valencia Orange SEAT Question

I just ordered a 2014 Z-4 in Valencia Orange, with Hyper Orange Package and Extended leather -

GMOE = Extended Alcantara/leather Black/Orange with Black World -what ever that means,

GMOF = Extended Alcantara/leather Black/Orange with Black/Orange color World

I have seen a video - the seats are black with black Suede centers with an ORANGE strip down the center of the back rest in the middle -

What is the difference between these two options - both require ZOP option, which i have ordered -

Any one have a Guess - or Photos or both of these option ?

These two videos show the Seat Stripe - what do they mean by Black/Orange color World, or Black/Orange
Photos of both would help PHIL

Really like the Valencia Orange, shame you can't get the seats without the orange stripe.

It's a great colour. I'm not ecstatic about the interior but the exterior is lovely.

If you build one at the UK site, you can see that one option has a lot more orange (door panels, etc) than the other. I assume black world=less orange.

Thanks Jay 60642

Here are the photos i wanted to see - thanks for your help -

Black color world = mostly black interior - door panels, under the dash

Orange Color World = Orange Alcantera (suede immitation leather) door panels and under the dash

I want the orange door panels - and orange under the dash, too much black otherwise !

Thanks again for your help !

Thanks for your comments everyone - I traded in my 2009 Z-4 - Orion Silver, Red Interior - had only 28,000 miles - still orriginal tires too - Rock hard tires as well ! - it was a Manual - new Valencia Orange will be a DCT, with Premium radio this time, I learned that before - the standard radio was lousy ! Ordering started March 1 - Hopefully some time in Late April or early May will have the 2014 version -

I too am concerned about the faux Suede( Alcantara) in seating areas! time will tell ! Am not crazy for the black painted roof, and for 700 bucks extra, it was a no brainer !

Here are some photos of some of the changes ! Thanks for Jay 606 for his help on the "world" meaning - and the UK Website information

you're welcome, Phil. after seeing the Valencia orange car at the Chicago show, I really wanted to order one--the metal mesh is gorgeous--but I am not a fan of the ultra suede.

Does any know when the 2014 Z4 can be ordered in the US?

Assuming you ordered this in Europe or the UK. Any idea when those in the US can get our hands on the 2014 Z4?

Thanks!

I absolutely love the Valencia Orange. I came close to ordering one myself. I decided to wait for the completely re-designed Z4 MY 2016. The Valencia Orange is pretty tempting though!

I hear you Roadstergal, however my old Z-4 was a 2009 - that I got in July of 2009- and the 2010 were being shipped here at that time - so I decided to get a early one this time - Also my Warantee was going to expire in July, would need new tires soon - and I was tired of the Manual Shift - caught in bumper to bumper traffice too much ! -

I still wonder what they will do in two years - to change the Z - ?

Thanks all for your comments - they are appreciated !

Phil

if anyone wants a Z-4 - Orion Silver, Manual with 28,000 miles - its at Circle BMW in Eatontown NJ - they gave me 29,000 on a trade - so it can be had rather cheaply compared to a New one ! (I took good care of it too - never abused it - even the dealership asked me once, they noticed that the rpms had never been high - ((the Computer tells them how high, and how long its been held at any high rpm.)

The 2009 did get a new battery a year ago, as the old one would not hold a charge - HPFP was replaced 3 years ago too - no problems since.

I hear you Phil, My warranty expires at the end of November. My car is a 2010 with only 7500 miles. With the exception of my '98 Z3, I have never kept a car beyond the warranty.
I don't know what the redesigned Z4 will look like. I can't see how they can improve on perfection. The E89 is an absolutely gorgeous roadster. I would go as far as to say that it is one of the best looking cars in any price range.
Still, I have to hold out and wait for the 2016 and then weigh my options.

Thanks a ton pmlnnrt. I called my dealer and just ordered mine too - but Black with Red Seats. Question for the group, do you recommend the Sports Package or the M Package? I understand the M only adds exterior and interior looks but thoughts would be appreciated.

just got a Melbourne red in M-Sport. Car looks great! a bitter lower so gives impression it's longer. also, the front looks very aggressive compare to my 2011 without M-Sport.
