Do Z4s have option to export profile ?

Do any of the newer Z4s have option to export profile ? More info here:
http://www.bmw.com/com/en/owners/con...vices/pia.html

Mine is a 2011 model and doesn't have this option.

I have this option in my 2014 X3 so I understand the question. But my 2014 35is doesn't have the option to manage profiles - neither changing them from iDrive like I can on the X3 nor saving and importing them like I can also do on the X3.

What do you think of this feature ? At BMW website, I see option to import online and edit ... looks kool.

I haven't had any occasion to use the import / export function but the ability to manage user profiles through iDrive (rather than relying only on the key used to unlock the car) is very useful. The X3 is driven equally by my wife and me and we often both have keys on us. Being that the car has Comfort Acess sometimes her profile gets selected (if she unlocks the car) and sometimes my profile gets selected (if I unlock the car). But the one unlocking the car may not be the one who is going to drive it so we just switch the profile in iDrive based on who is driving and separate from whose key unlocked the car. I have one of the presets set to take me to the profile selection screen.

I've tried it for F30 loaner cars (export my F30 settings to the loaner). It is a bit gimmicky because there are differences in equipment so it is usually just seat settings (which don't take that long).

That said, I think having different profiles is great if the car is shared with family members (in practice, 2 profiles.. 1 per key.. is enough)
