It's not really an SUV so you're going to struggle. Nothing can go on the roof nor trunk, nor can you tow anything. So other than top down and shove it in the passenger footwell?!

Wow...I'd look to strap that surfboard to the rollover bar, at a minimum if you'll be hitting a highway.
We get a lot of beds around here on the roads, flying off pick-up beds. Bet the wind would take hold of a board about just as well if not secured really well. |

Yeah, my buddy used to do that in his G37, but I think with a shorter board. I would definitely strap it in. Issue would be potential rain as the beach is ~20 miles from my house.
