Wind Shield and LED lights on today

Hi All, installed the Roadster wind shield today, awesome product, very simple to install and even the grain on the supports matches the cars plastic grain! LED lights were simple too, the right side, left of shot, looks a little brighter but it may just be some internal reflection from the lens, I'll take some better shots later!

Cheers
Daniel

Daniel,

Your windscreen looks great.

Although the Roadster option was my first choice, I ended up going OEM. My concern was attaching anything with the 3M tape. Hope it holds up for you. It definitely looks good!

Thanks for the great pictures of the windscreen. I ordered one from Roadster Solutions and it came in last Friday. Directions say surface temp should be 70 degrees or above. We had a cold snap this weekend so I couldn't install mine. It looks like the bottom of the center panel does not sit flush to the car??

I actually installed that same windscreen in the parking lot of Welt just after taking delivery. It really is that easy and it's been rock solid for the last 18 months.

You're correct, it sits up a little off the car, 3-4mm, i assume if it touched it would squeak or rub, no air come under there though!

Please share daylight pics of your new LED if possible. Interested to see how bright they are during the day. I returned my LED back to LUX as it had issues on one side going out and throwing errors on my NAV screen. I'm going to live with the stock yellow bulbs as they always appear brighter in the daylight anyways.

Your wind diffuser looks great!

From the first 2 pics, I swear I had no idea what I was looking for.

Nice addition though, I might consider it if the wind noise annoys me enough with the top down.

Just ordered a set of those bulbs, I've wanted to switch the originals out since day one and at that price it's worth a shot.

Looks good, how easy does it slide on and off for track days?

Installed the lights today, very easy to do. However, i can confirm that the daytime running lights are 1/2 as bright as the originals. Although for my money it's looks 10x better. In terms of cost this has to be one of the biggest impacts for the smallest amount of coin one can get. Good company, responsive to my questions and even helped me with a discount. I'd buy from them again.

How much discount? Can we drop your name and get the same?

I'd have to say I never worried much about the yellow angel eyes on the Z4 until I took delivery of the new X3. It has white angel eyes and it makes the Z4 angel eyes look old and faded.

I dont usually ever modify a car, but I am sorely tempted in this case.

Anyone have pics of the install process or does it come with a easy to follow guide?

Same here, interested in a set for a good price.

As for install guide, ijdmtoy website has a generic guide, it looks plug and play and that is why I am considering it myself. Maybe OP can confirm if the installation is as easy and the same step by step?

How does the plexiglass hold up as far as scratch resistance?
