Tire/Wheel Warranty

Are they worth the cost? Can anyone recommend a good source?

I bought the policy from the dealer when I got the car - it covers the tires, and rims - considering they are expensive run flat tires - was told over 400 bucks each - so a 800 dollar insurance policy for 4 years was worth it -

Anyone know if Flow BMW is still the policies? I had one on my E93 and I thinrk I only paid about $400 for a 3 or 5 year policy.

There is a thread on bimmerfest that provides some information about tire/wheel warranties. Flow has raised their prices and now requires the car to be inspected so this is out of the question for those not near Winston-Salem, NC. A company called Dealer Services Online is selling the same warranty that Flow used to sell for about the same price. I am still researching but will probably go with them.

Just heard that Dealer Services Online is expecting a "significant" price increase on Ja. 1 so if you were thinking about a tire/wheel warranty you might want to check it today or tomorrow. Unfortunately, I don't have a VIN yet so I can't purchase a warranty now.
