I tried digging couldn't find anything myself. However look like it will transfer to the other side with ease though accompanied with a bracket.

Just an update

Found what was needed, a simple bracket and just move the original tank to the other side.

Will update more this week

All done...... There are three brakets that are used here. Two on the top as you can see and another on the bottom using the original grommet from the other side.

Everything will be all black. The red bushing are used to also help level coolant tank. It will be all refined when the plumbing is done. Still waiting on a part from Germany to come in to install. All BMW OEM plumbing pieces are being used.

If anyone is interested in the relocation kit LMK. You get to keep the original coolant tank

This might be a dumb question but what's the benefit to relocating it?

Opens up space on the passenger side for upgtades, like single turbos, inlet upgrades like i did . The coolant being on the driver is the cold side of the engine bay. BMW also has the coolant tank on the driver side in their other model cars with the N54

I'm interested in that 90 degree fitting for the overflow hose. Did you source that and have a part number? Mine is straight and I could sure use a 90 degree one like that.

The 90* hose for the coolant tank that I use seen in the pic I got from the X6 M diesel Part# 17127576361 . You can also get part # 17127803838

The X6 is longer which can always be shorten

Another part of interest is the heater exchange return connector that T's into the main heater hose return line for the coolant tank to connect to instead of routing the line from the other side. Part # 11537805359

It replaces the following connector circled in red

Thanks for the info... as you can see, mine has a little kink in the hose, it hasn't been a problem, but I'd still like to fix it
