How do i know if 3.0 is 570cca or 640cca? Battery quesiton

Im not sure this is in the right place.

I am looking to get a battery for my 2003 z4 3.0L. I went to a site and I have to chose between L6 3.0L 570CCA or L6 3.0L 640CCA Optional/Telematics.

I have no idea what that means. Can anyone help? Also I talked to a person at the store and they said the battery would need to be registered (not a BMW battery) How is that done?

CCA is acronym for cold cranking amps. It depends on where you live. The colder the climate the more CCA you need.

You register it either in your own if you have coding software (which I'm figuring you don't have) or bring your car to bmw or an Indy shop to have them do it. And you should do it.
