exaust options

is the eisenmann the only one out there? it looks like a nice piece, but got damn 3000$ is pricey just for an exaust.

anyone gotten a custom one made?

3D design do one. And some japanese company that I saw a vid of on youtube that sounded nicely aggressive.

One of things I factored into the purchase of the Z4 was my need for a louder & more exotic exhaust note. The 35is already comes with an upgraded exhaust so in effect it 'saved' me the $3000+labour+hassle to deliver and fit a quality aftermarket exhaust from overseas. I wonder how much that would be to buy from the dealer?

Do BMW performance do one yet?

Remus now has mufflers out and they are much cheaper than Eisenmann. We have the Eisenmann 2x90 race exhaust and love it but $3k is a very steep entry fee.

i did think about that as well, but i wanted to see what was out there that was ready-made. i may go custom if i can find someone i trust to do the work.

your setup looks amazing. what mufflers did you use?

... and there is this guy selling his eisenmann and his hartge quad
http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=409893

I wonder why he bought two sets and now he goes for the third obviously?
Keep in mind the hartge is a lot less louder than the eisenmann, but looks better imo.

Sorry to revive such an old thread, how I don't see anyone using the Remus set. I am looking at it's marketed features and it says 6-10 HP gain. It seems it's too good to be true to me.

Anyone can shed some light on this axle back set from Remus?

its just mufflers, which on a turbo vehicle i can see 6hp. i havent read or seen of anyone running them.

i think i might just go custom. 3200 is a alot of an an exhaust or even 1100 for mufflers.
