Decisions, decisions, decisions

Alright, I am agonizing about my next car purchase and need to ask for some thoughts.

Most of us are car guys and gals here. Im 41, had all the posters on my walls and subscriptins to every car mag offered when I was a kid.

I don't make a ton of cash, but have saved enough to comfortably get back into an M. However with the, not yet released, M2 crashing my immediate M3 plans, I have had some time to look around. I cannot afford my childhood dream cars, except for 1.

My most current agonizing thoughts are:

Do M2 ED in May --- This would be my DD with an avg monthly pmt
Do M3 ED in May --- This would be my DD with an avg monthly pmt
or
Picking up a '95 - '00 Acura NSX free and clear. 30-60k miles with WP/TB service already complete. This could be an "investment" of some sorts too. I would also just lease an appliance like my current Toyota Corolla for a DD and save the NSX for nice days.

Anyone else just agonizing over the waiting???

thoughts all?

The NSX is dog slow, and the M3 is way overpriced. No clue about the M2, but if dealers mark them up insanely high like the M1, forget it.

Since you don't seem to be jaded against older JDM cars, grab a Supra MKIV Turbo and blow the doors off everything you listed above for not much in mod money. Hell, nice single turbo examples can be found now for $35-40k. I had one with a T-88 back in the day and the acceleration is something I'll never forget. The Supra won't lose a penny of value either, and it's probably still more reliable than a new BMW haha.

Oh, and I'd take a used GTR over any new BMW ///M. No comparison.

NSX is on my list of cars that I insure replacement value of my M for in case it died.

But the NSX would need forced induction to be a proper replacement once you're used to 400-500whp.

Seconded, drive the car you really want to every day. Then save up and get the NSX too.

If you want a collector car get the NSX, it will continue to climb in value. As long as it is clean and unmolested. Why does the DD have to be a Corolla?

Corolla or Civic. Just bulletproof 200,000 miles beater cars. But $$$ is the main reason.

Thanks all for the replies. And my thread split in 2? Weird
