Or.. it's a low volume car that they don't want to spend much on!

'We think the N54 suits the car best' what a load of rubbish, what they mean is, it will cost to fit the N55 and we're keeping the LCI cost down. Hence a new headlight and plastic indicator surround.

Looks good.

Does anyone know if that black roof option is new? Or was it available on the Pre-LCI models?

They missed the boat with the e89 for an M model. Will have to wait till next version in 2015 for an M. For what the car has right now the turbo versions with a software flash is MORE than enough, many would argue even the flash is not needed.

Though it sounds good a V8 Z4 M would be 100k, and lets face it this car isnt in the SL class league. What is needed is to create a z5/6 what ever to face off with the SL and dump the 4.4ltt engine in it.

If you advertise it, BMW, it will sell...

Also, make your dealers display it properly...

I don't know if I've ever seen a Z commercial on TV, or seen any print ads for one. Also, they are always cast off to the side at my local dealership. So that a bare-bones 3er can take center stage? WTF?

Might be the difference between American English and Australian English, but what's "the Aerial"?

I think that would be the whip Antenna on the rear fender/trunk area.

See I'm getting good at this American stuff Because I'd say, the long/whip aerial on the rear wing.

E46 M3 and E85/6 Z4M were around the same price, so there is some precedent for the Z to share the M3 motor at the same cost. USD$65k-$70k Z4M with the V8 I think would have sold like hotcakes

Opinions vary obviously, but I think the E89 Z4 needs so much more than a software flash to be an M car.
