That //M looks pretty cool, but I have to admit that even though I'm into the X6 and x5 ///Ms, never been a fan of the X3. Interior always seemed cheap and the regular X3 looks sort of like a Subaru Forester to me. Just my opinion.

I really don't get why BMW is making Ms for sedans and SUVs (SAVs in their speak) but supposedly no M for the Z, which should be their 'proper' sports car.

Exactly.
If the want to make a truck, make a truck. Make it offroad worthy and capable of towing. Hot-Rod SUV's have a very limited market. Better off to bring in M-version station wagons.

+ 1

Post something Z4-ish please

Plus, please don't post any more about M versions of SUV's ... ugh

A real M car is either a "Sports Car" (read Z4) or a Ridiculously Quick Saloon (Sedan)

... says ME

It's actually quite simple.

4+ people carrying capacity, M versions, & EU sedan race programs = Lots of $$$$$ for BMW.

Z4 = small peanuts.

Ya, I know, $$ talks, so it always makes me smirk a little bit when ppl say that the new Z4 is not 'raw' enough. Well, if enough enthusiasts spoke w/ their wallets, I'm sure we'd all have Z4 Scuderias available lol.

Still, I personally think it's silly to 'M' anything such as a large sedan or a SUV.

Those are designed for soccer dads who refuse to admit that they have been completely emasculated and can afford something more expensive than a minivan.

I like it
I don't see what you lot are moaning about, looks good to me!!
And as for saying wrong place for this post i think it would go with my Zed perfectly for when the weather was bad, or I need more than two seats.
Nice one BMW, you made the X3 look stylish now, rather than the box before.
