Ohlins road & track

So I got the Ohlins Road and track installed on my 35is and I have to say, it changes the car completely. It now drives like a true sports car. I should have done this a long time ago (although OHLINS just came up with these coilovers for the e89). Thanks jts1981 and fmorelli for pushing me to get this mod and helping me through my mod struggles with this car. I have done a lot more on this car which I will be posting in another Build thread.

Ohlins recommended rebound, it came preset, I kept it as is. The height is just a tad bit higher than the lowest they can go.

Garage List
I have had the Ohlins R & T kit on mine for almost two years now. Money very well spent.
Before that, handling was completely wayward compared to my e86M or even my e46 M3 vert. Car needed steering correction during fast turns or even going straight every time I lifted my foot off the gas pedal. I guess the eibach springs the car came with when I bought it made it even more nervous up front.

When I did the swap the car had 30000 kms. The rear shocks were literally shot. You could compress the shocks completely with minimal effort.

Another good feature with Ohlins is that you can keep ride height almost stock , less than half an inch lower, without messing suspension travel.

Try CG camber plates up front with those, you'll it.

Here is a pic of mine.

Did you keep the ride height the same as factory. I tried to lower my car but to keep pre-load on the front springs I was only able to drop about 10MM in the front. I have a 35is.
