Just bought a set of 19'' VMR V710 with Yokohama AD08

Just bought a set of 19''VMR V710 Staggered with Yokohama AD08, waiting for the weather to get a bit warmer and my tires to arrive to put them on. Any one know if the offset with this wheel with work with the E89? I'm worried if there would be any rubbing issues. my car isn't lowered and has stock suspension for now.

the AD08 should be okay for daily use, but as I haven't really tried them yet, I'm curious to how the tire wear and tear will be if I just drive normally. I mainly wanted to change out of my OEM 296 RFT because of the cracking issue and the lack of performance from the RFTs. Any advice on keeping my new set nice and fresh in this otherwise cold weather of Canada?

I got the powder coated VMR Gloss black from a friend. lightly used but a good deal for what it is.

So, let me get this straight...you bought the wheels without knowing that the fitment will work?

I'm pretty sure those wheels will look bomb on z4! I wonder how will you like Yoko tyres, I really want to buy them, but I want little more feedback on those. Keep us posted!

One more thing you might want to do is upgrade your front brakes, as they will be pretty exposed with those wheels. And the OEM brakes looks crappy to me. I upgraded mine with BMW Performance brakes, which is BREMBO in instance. Just around $1100 from the dealer. They look amazing.

Well I did check the rim fitment online for e89 and it's a positive fit. But I can't be sure until I put it on and run with it. Different tire and lowering might make things different for me. Yoko 265/30R19 for the rear makes me nervous since Z4 is not a very big car. And my friend has rubbing on his lowered 335i.

Gonna try it out soon, the wheels don't like the cold very much. But I will keep you guys updated when I put them on.

You should always give width and offset when you ask if wheels will fit.

Those will be tucked in a bit, you should get spacers too.

Yea you are right, problem is the guy I bought it from is clueless about the offset, and just tells me what I typed above. I know I sound like a idiot but I can't pass up a really good deal on these rims, for the slight chance that it won't work I'll be able to return it.

they have a BMW Club School event here in Toronto, I think I'll go sign up have track with an instructor. that should be a lot more fun than playing GT5.

the wheel size is good but the offset is off for the back. the stock 19" offset is 35mm front and 33mm back (I just ordered wheels last night from EAS so I know this measurement). however, it may be fine and look super cool with the added offset?

offsets work backwards, the lower the # the more it sticks out. So his rear wheels will be reallllllyyy tucked in. He can just add some spacers though and prob solved.

VMR 710s - I let my wife pick and that is what she liked best after looking at a ton of online pictures of wheels on BMWs. I pushed for some forged BBS but I warned her that at $4-5k, curb rash would not be tolerated. She said, "well we both know sometimes curbs jump out at me so I would prefer a set of great looking wheels without the $$$."

So, VMRs it is . . . and I think they will look great. They should arrive early this week and when they are installed, I will take pictures and post. I wanted gray but she opted for hyper silver in color.

These are not only good looking but they are strong wheels. My son put these on his E46 and proceeded to run off the road one day. Shod with Michellin PS2 AS. Breaking not only the wheel but the trailing arm as well. I was surpised that there was not more cracking with the massive deformation.

Hopefully your wife does not have any curbs jump too far out in front of her.
