35is regenerative braking

I see that one of the things in the "is" brochure is regenerative braking, which I find somewhat odd. If I hadn't read that, would I have any idea that the car does that? Is there any indication or noticeable behavior change?

What about the same question with respect to "..on-demand operation of engine accessory units."

No, you don't notice it.

Basically your alternator and AC compressor are run at full power during deceleration (giving more engine braking) and they're disengaged during acceleration and cruising unless really needed.
