E89 Eisenmann exhaust (Prototype photos)

Eisenmann is hard at work on the new E89 Z4 Race and Sport performance exhaust systems. This system will be 100% bolt on and will be offered in dual and Quad tip applications. I will update this thread with any new information that comes in from Germany.

Eisenmann is working on the full bolt on performance exhaust for the Z4 sDrive 23i, Z4sDrive 30i und Z4 sDrive 35i. Eisenmann must complete a 10.000 km road and track test before releasing the systems to the public. This system is set to release the end of August.

Does it look like the exhaust muffler on the right of the image is smaller than the left. I also notice that the left side has some heat shielding and the right does not.

Is this car a single exhaust that is being retrofitted for dual exhaust?

I think it's more the angle of the pic. Looks like the muffler on the right of the image is angled so it appears smaller.

And the heat shield looks to be over the bottom of the fuel tank. Doesn't appear to stretch all the way over to the right of the pic. (of course, I could be wrong on either or both accounts)

Yes, it could be angled.

The shielding I was looking at is (or not) under the right muffler. Maybe they haven't put in yet.

Do you know how does the e89 front and rear suspension compare to the previous Z4 (e85?)?

The Black Z4 is a 23i. I saw this car @ Eisenmann directly.

The 23i pictured originally had a single exhaust, right? Which would explain why it doesn't have heat shielding under the passenger side muffler.

I'm curious why he didn't use a smaller size muffler on the driver side similar to the passenger side. If you look closely at "PIC 1" the driver side facia lip, it looks like he had to notch the plastic. You barely see it from the back on "PIC 2" but if you look closely, the mufflers are different widths.

The s23i and s30i are not designed for 2 exhausts.
Therefore Eisenmann need to adjust the second exhaust, such stuff looks never perfect.

I'm sure it'll look much better on the s35i.

No Clue, it most likely also depends on the Country you are living / buying.

My estimate is ~ 1400-1600 € for Germany (for 4x 76/80 or 83mm)

Cheers

Thanks for the kind words guys! The photos are just prototype and the production system may look different. I will let you guys know when this system is officially released. We are very excited about the 35i full system.

I know that a friend of mine took his 23i to Supersprint in Italy , he asked if they wanted to do some R&D on his car, as he wanted a better exhaust(he wants a little more power in the near future and he likes tuned exhausts)....they are developing a new one, a really good one....he's quite sure that SS will retain twin exhaust for 23i and 30i, then double muffler for 35i(when they will be able to have one to modify)...
