M Sport?

Can someone please breakdown the pros/cons of the M sport package on a 35i?

Considering trading up and there are two 35i on the market. One with m sport other without. And I have no clue what it brings besides the spoilers.

Besides the cosmetic stuff, it will lower the car by about 1 cm and adjust the suspension depending on the driving mode you choose (normal, sport, sport +). It also has a higher top speed limiter (maybe not in all markets?).

There are quite a few threads on this forum explaining the differences between M and non-M driving characteristics.

If you can live without the "cosmetic stuff", the sport package may be enough for you -- and cost slightly less.

It does alter the suspension height by 10mm but does not add adaptive/dynamic suspension, at least in Europe this is an optional extra.

Yes, you are right, just checked the bmw.de configurator and it is an extra for the 35i. Seems to indicate that the 35is gets it as part of the standard equipment?

To the OP: I guess the lesson here is that it really depends on the market. Didn't check whether Malaysia has a country specific BMW web site and a configurator, but that's probably your best bet to figure out what is included and what now ...

I think on a 35i you get the 10mm ride height adjustment w/ adaptive suspension with either regular sport package or M-sport package. The M-Sport also includes interior and exterior cosmetic changes that make it look like an M model.
