Is the Gill surround on the side up-gradable to the 2014 chrome coloured?

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the Gill surround on the side signal indicator be up-gradable to the 2014 chrome type? My was 2013 which they didn't have the face lift yet.

If yes, is it easily done by myself?

I was looking quickly through the first page, I see the instructions on the other pages now..

Very easlily done, Break two tabs off new part (shown in the article above), plug into existing plug, remove tape backing and then snap into place. Took me like 10 minutes total. Just make sure you pull the tape first and then snap into the hole before you press the tape against the vehicle. DONE

I have done it already yesterday and love it: )
Now I am worried how we replace it when the bulbs die. Unlike the old one, it has the adhesive on top of the clip, so might be much harder to take out.

From your previous posts it's easy to tell that you do, in fact, worry a lot. Not to worry here. The bulbs are LED and will outlast your car.
