2009 25i DCT. Does this have Adaptive Suspension?

Newbie so be gentle?

Just bought a fantastic 2009 Z4 35i DCT version.

Blurb from seller was...

BMW Z4 35I SDRIVE 2DR DCT"1 OWNER 4800 MILES", 2 Doors, Automatic, Convertible, Petrol, 2009 09 Reg, 4800 miles, Metallic Silver, 1 Owner. Awesome top of the range "new model" Z4 3.0 35I S DRIVE AUTO 7 SPEED" titanium silver with coral red leather trim, sat nav bluetooth usb, heated memory seats,19" light V spoke alloys, car cover, sports leather wheel and paddle pack, sports seats, front and rear pdc, cruise with brake, high beam assist, bmw assist, covered only 4800 miles from new with 1 owner, still under bmw warranty, electric hard top,as new must see.in stock now!!!

My question is...

Does the UK spec 35i model with 7 speed auto DCT come with the Adaptive suspension option??

Many thanks

To get the sports suspension, you have to have sports package or M package I believe.
But, UK might be different since this info is based on US model.

In the UK you must order the car with adaptive suspension, I know, I have it. Its a £960 option as I recall.

To see if you have it, either ask BMW for the factory spec, or, look under the car, at the end of the strut is a small bell shaped object, this is the electro magnet, it has a cable running from/to it.

Also, test drive it on a rough surface and switch between normal and sport +, you'll soon know if you have it as the results are either in your head, or down your spine! lol

Its easy to notice if you are driving. Especially if you have the 19" wheels.
Normal mode makes for a slightly floaty ride in comparison to the harder sports and sports+ setting.

I find I flip into normal mode just before I come up to the worst sections of bumpy roads and then flick back to sports once past them.
When I forget, the car and road remind me very quickly.

What I would like to see is a separation of the adaptive dampers from the throttle / gearbox and steering sharpness with the normal/sport/sport+ button.

Many times I would prefer to have the softer damper settings but the faster box and throttle.
