Funny you should mention. I'm also trying to get INPA to work and madly struggling with what I think are comms errors (get a popup saying error with script, continue script processing?).

Also INPA doesn't seem to have a category for the E89. Certainly not in the version I'm using.

Where exactly are you having issues? I may be able to offer some limited help.

I was told to use E90 and it will work. It may be true in most cases like checking for errors in Functional Jobs. If I try to diagnose modules seperately, I get 'Requested control until .... not found. Control until found: 'IHKA89'. Program will be stopped!'. I think INPA is not configured to find E89 modules. So it is throwing out this message. Sometimes script errors too. I tried bim coding and bim coders forums - no help.

I think it's because the E90 profile isn't quite right for the E89.

I downloaded a custom made version of INPA from a guy called Shawn in this thread: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho....php?p=8378028
It was intended for F series cars but there is an E89 menu option. You need to reply in the thread and ask him for a copy, I wouldn't want to give out his software without permission.

It has the correct profiles for the E89 and should help that error.
