Just did it my self on my e89. With the workshop mode, just need to push the piston like classic brakes. So happy to have rheingold

I did it myself. Do a search for removing the emergency brake motor assy. Its really quite easy to change the pads with motor off.

The ECS Scan Tool puts the car in diag mode and automatically retracts the rear ebrakes . Thus you dont have to worry about touching the boot.

This tool does a lot more also. You can also code injectors.
