Winter wheels
Hoping to pickup a new Z4 on a 24 month lease. The unit I have my eye on is an early production 2011. Base 3.0 model.
Since I've only got it that long, I'm hoping to find a used set of tire/wheels for sale. As you might guess, the used winter wheel/tire universe for the E89 is quite small. Does anyone have experience with cross-fitment with other BMWs? As nearly as I can tell, it seems that the E90/E91/E92 models might be a good candidate. Obviously, that would open up a lot more choices. One more question... any idea about TPMS compatibility? I know BMW changed that at some point. regards, kyfdx |

Your model has the run flat version of TWS…it relies on the DSC sensing dissimilar wheel rotation…so any wheel will work without coding / modification..
Sour preferred offset is 29mm on the front , 40mm on the rear….quite a few BMW OE wheels will fit…especially with modest width tyres…I know that 103 Daises in 17” will not..they will just foul your 330mm front discs.. So 18” wheels are your safe bet…best to get a ‘chunky’ design as a lot of BMW wheels seem to crack..
