didnt read the posts but based on the initial thread i think you just havent met a women yet that is so awesome that it is clearly worth the risk of your 2 examples to make sure that you get to have all of her awesomeness without sharing it with anyone... until you have kids, they can share some of her awesome... but only parts of it... some of it is still exclusively yours.
women that good are very hard to find... in fact, they pretty much only exist in a 75% state of total awesome. the other 25% only comes out when you meet her awesomeness with enough awesome of your own to make her even more awesome.

k this is going all over the place now...
there are unicorns out there... and by that i mean 1 in a million chicks in case that wasn't clear. you cant base a model of an exception but plot the outliers (unicorns) way out on the X-axis and understand that there are still a lot of great chicks between the median and the unicorns... the problem is most men are not good enough to earn even a few moments of a great woman's time. it's your fault, not hers.

As I said in another thread, 3rd paragraph... I do want a bigger family since I'm a 2nd-gen only child with family that is either scattered 2nd cousins or estranged. Sure, views have relaxed on illegitimate children and a bastard evolved from being a term for them to becoming so commonplace that many people just thinks it ONLY means contemptible person, but nevertheless, I don't want any bastard(s?). I am not deeply religious, but it's one of the old-fashioned beliefs that I do hold.
Also, as someone who is the son of parents who divorced when I was young, it still feels weird to call someone else "mom" when my dad remarries, and I do want to ensure that I find a committed significant other before I put a ring on it. In other words, I don't want my future kids to have the same lousy life I had. Also to add, I don't believe in one-nighters or hookups, and want to have the relationship that most people don't believe they can have (if you think I'm dreaming, I'm talking about you LOL), especially since I never had a good relationship history either.
