It too was just announced on the Today Show BUT the claim was that the "worst road rage drivers" were driving Blue 3 series.

I resemble that remark! I'm glad I have a white Z4 and am over 60. I guess I can still be classified as an individualist with rage issues!

compared to what, prius drivers?
jalopnik list goes like this from worst to bad. Prius, Minivans, ram pickups, Murano, Volvo, BMW, Subaru WRX/STI, Ferrari, G wagon, and Lexus. I personally think STI and Lexus should be brought further up in the list. But I did LOL at this one "What is the difference between a BMW and a porcupine? On a porcupine the prick is on the outside!"

Meh, it's a big joke. I don't find that to be particularly true, there are A LOT of pricks driving minivans and other clunkers.
If anything, there is a tendency for jealousy vs ppl driving BMWs, they like to honk me for no apparent reason. |

I drive in such a way that I anticipate, then try to avoid the situation where the other driver even has an opportunity cut me off, or do anything disrespectful towards me on the road.
That way I avoid the situation where any type of road rage on my part would occur as a result of being cut off. People have actually honked their horns at me for AVOIDING the scenario where they were ready to cut me off. If their car horn could only speak for them it would be saying, "I'm pissed off that you didn't even allow me the chance to cut you off like I wanted to!!!" At that point I wish I had a big electronic marque on top of my car where I could type the message, "I'm sorry if I didn't give you the chance to cut me off back there" Last edited by BlueZ4Arizona; 08-21-2013 at 02:55 PM.. |
