Key Fob eating batteries

Has anyone else had an issue where one of your fob's goes through batteries like candy?

My #1 fob will go through a new battery in about 1-2 months where I have never needed to change the battery in fob # 2.

I take it you have comfort access because non comfort access cars have batteries that are recharged by the car and last many many years.

Check on whether the button is accidentally being pressed in your pocket (esp when you are sitting)?

Try a battery from a different source?

both of those were minor things that helped me out

Non issues here over the last 18 months with Comfort Access.

It is not my daily driver so most of the time the fob is hanging on the hook.

I have tried 3 different brands of batteries and all give about the same amount of life.

When I do drive it to work the fob is on my desk, I don't keep keys in my pocket as it bothers me after a while. Even when I drive long distances I will take the key out of my pocket and put it in the dash.

I will have the dealer check this fob since #2 works fine and it doesn't discharge batteries like fob #1.
