I don't always back in...

But when I do, it's in a diagonal lot.

A majority of the time especially at my apt complex since the lady next to me can't park and is always on my side. So backing up allows me to stay as far away from her car as possible, even if it means less room for me to crawl out of my car.

Is there something missing from this picture?

How would backing in give you more space on the side of the car?

haha...i can hug the side closer to my driver door better if i backed in versus if i went head in first. it's just personal preference or i'm able to park closer to the wall/line on the driver side if back in since it's a bit hard to see on my passenger side...
