I don't know really the difference, other than what I read about others saying in different threads... I had my E93 never felt The need for a deflector.. But a friend pointed out that once you drive with it, you don't want to drive without it... |

Bought the OEM deflectors. I am in the process of painting the covers in white, with 3 red stripes maching my interior... Should be done painting by this weekend. Will see how that will look and feel thereafter...

I'm kinda amused why so ppl don't like the OEM wind deflector. It's not bad at all and I got used to seeing through it: vision is not impaired, just slightly darker. Of course, it serves its purpose and effectively reduces draft.

No, I never use the a/c when the top's down. However, there was a review article somewhere mentioning that they could effectively do so and have a comfy/cool cabin.

Installed my Wind deflector in the weekend... Easy process, less than 30 minutes... Great improvement in minimizing the Air turbulence. Slightly better when top is down and A/C is on... At a speed of over 60 KPH, the mesh deflector seems to trap the Air coming from the A/C and keeping it with in the car interior (all 4 windows up)...
Here is a pic of the roll over protection cover.. Painted them in white with red Stripes... not a great photo, taken with my iphone... But they look cool in real... what do you think guys? |
