Mine sits just slightly around 240 to 250 marker. And that was running hard Saturday in the switchbacks.

Thanks everybody for your feedback. Looks like the oil cooler does a good job of keeping the oil temp under control. I am somewhat amazed that even with the Dinan stage II software (380 hp & 420 lb feet torque) the oil temps don't exceed 250 (as posted below by Rubber Ducky). Would be interesting to see what happens on the track. BMW CCA hasn't recognized the z4 convertible hardtop yet for Driver's Schools. Does anyone know if any other track organization allows the z4 to run?

As a matter of fact, in the most recent Roundel mag someone wrote in to complain how BMW doesn't allow verts in their driving schools based on arbitrary rules, but Porsche clubs do allow them. Local chapters, like the Genesee Valley chapter here, follow suit and exclude convertibles. His point being that BMW verts are no less safe than Porsche verts.
So, at the present time take your Z4 to a Porsche event and have fun!
