Replacing brake light socket

My passenger side brake light keeps overheating and melting the nipple at the end of the 21 watt halogen bulb. I bought a new oem socket # 63 11 7 407 330. It looks slightly different, maybe it was updated. The bulb fits and the socket fits into tail light housing. The places where the wires get inserted into the socket are different. I've looked at it for for a while and just don't see where the wires get inserted? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.
