Imho the best looking wheels for the Z4 by a good margin.
I would however change the tires immediately and save the Bridgestones for when/if you want to sell the car again. Or simply sell them as is. Mine has lasted for more than 40.000kms, and life is just too short for that to be acceptable...

maybe because the originals wheels color is closer to white than to silver which makes them better match the interior of the car.
but the performance are great too, A-La-35iS style ;-)

beautiful Z

Thanks. They're actually a similar silver colour, just the camera made the 296 look brighter on that say due to the sun angle (summer rather than winter on the 313 shot).

They are nice indeed..if/when my 19s give out (god i hope not) it will be these. Though it might be time to look at M-sport skirts/bumper/diffuser to help out those wheels

Nice Shoes.
When I was changing my 296, I was debating the 326 M, finally went with the 313 performance 19"...

I had the calipers painted silver last year as they'd started to show rust colouring. What would you all suggest? Red or yellow perhaps? Do you think it might spoil the sophisticated look of the car and make it look too racy/rice?

The Z4 calipers are not the best looking and it even gets worser with the 313s. However, I would still keep them rather than color them in a different color. Kind of remind me of the VW Golf... But that is my personal opinion of course...

Well I'm not upgrading the brakes, as it looks like a pain and is very costly. I've looked at the calliper covers from ebay but they looked cheap, so I guess I'll leave them silver so they're not super obvious but still look tidy and clean.

You are maybe right.
I tried to look at some other cars to see what could be the result
and I found an old thread (05-2012), where a guy has painted them in red and you replied that you would not paint them.

For black body like yours, I think you could try black calipers, red, or glossy grey.
The red fits almost any car, but it would make it too racy as you said and you might not like it. Take a look below:

Maybe both red and black like this:

But after all, I find the black/Glossy black color very nice! I would not have said the same with other wheels (i.e. dark wheels, etc.) but with yours I think it would be great.

Not an easy choice.

Actually I don't mind the gloss black look.. at least that works with the car, doesn't scream tacky but looks fairly tasteful. There's a job for summer then.. Gloss black it is

I am glad I could help!
You have a nice car and I am sure the glossy black would fit perfectly!
I cannot wait to see the result, post some pics when you would have a chance after the upgrade.

I have to say not only have they made the car look more aggressive, but they've also changed its driven 'feel'. They definitely feel lighter, way more feedback from the road, a touch more grip and turn in. I can't believe how much tighter the connection to the road feels. Its not in my imagination, its definitely improved the overall feel and must be down to lighter weight/improved stiffness. The only negative is that road imperfections (holes/missing tarmac) are much harsher so I'll be needing to get into non RFTs quickly.
