New Owner of a Alpine White E89! =]

I have been drooling over the E89 since it was first introduced.

I previously had a Mazda 6, then when I moved to the east coast I bought a Mazda BRG MX-5 Miata NB last year.

Finally after a years I have finally made the move to get one for myself and couldn't be happier

we still have our e89 (not the original ED version that was a 09 model as it was damaged by BMW in US delivery port and eventually, through much arm twisting over 4 months - replaced with a 2010 model) AND we love it 3.5 years later! sorry for the long interlude

Damaged; really?? I'm sorry to hear about your troubles.
Ugh, that worries me! I have a 13 on order and she just made it to the port today. Hoping she'll get on a ship very soon and start her journey to Texas.
What kind of damage was done?

Nick,
She's beautiful!! I know you're enjoying it!
Can't wait to get mine! Drove by the dealership yesterday and my 05 was gone from the lot... guess they sold her.
The automated system says that my car is at the port waiting for a vessel.
Yea!!

My faith in the product extended to me paying it all off last month, so it's a keeper!! Big step, wish we had cheap options on leases like you guys have!!

I don't think our lease options here are cheap [imo]...if they had been, I would've leased rather than bought. The lease here that I was told of per my dealer was something like $4600-5200 down and payments of around $768/mo.
That sure didn't sound like a bargain to me.

leasing was cheap before. in the past year, bmw raised the price by double on everything. some were fortunate to get one for zero down and very little security deposit. payments were low 300s.

The cheapest one I heard of over here, was $600 down, and then $450 a month over 3 years. The dealer was making a $11000 contribution to the deal. Here, you have a balloon payment, you either pay that amount at the end of the agreement and keep the car, or just hand it back, and they pay you what it's worth, and you keep the difference between what is owning and what it's worth. In these days, I don't think you get any money back anymore....

Very nice. Glad you'll keep the front plate off too. Just keep that big thing the Miata has on it's trunk off the Zed and she'll be great WE have a 2012 AW with the walnut interior. Love ours.
