New Z4 owner

Just got this for my wife. Of course, I get to drive it too! What a blast. More fun than my retired E46 Dinan Coupe.

Nice, another red Z4. I still think it's a very underrated color. Please post more pics when you can.

Thanks, it takes me back to my days with my 63 TR4 minus the oil leaks and tweaking the twin SU carbs.

Use to live in Pittsford BTW. sounds like your Z is fully loaded. Sweet.

I live in Brighton. It's been early here for top-down weather this year. It's a nice treat.

I'm very close to Gothenburg, about 16 kilometers north in a town called Surte.

For sure since you could still have a mountain of snow in the parking lots from some winters. I was only there for two years but we had a heck of a snow in Feb of '98 or '99 as I recall. 38 inches in a weekend.

I remember that! March 1999 we had back to back blizzards. That was an amazing time.

Ditto on the lucky wife....in our house the wife (i.e. me) had to buy her own Z4 (but totally worth it, I love it)! Have fun with your new car!

Here are the photos requested. We are waiting on the wind screen and I will be looking for Euro Anti Blind Spot mirrors first thing.

As a general rule one should avoid using his head as a roll bar

I know it's stupid, but it bothers me to see seats adjusted all the way up like that. Nice ride otherwise

Good observation. Seat height should be adjusted so that you can easily place your fist (thumb down) between your head and the roof. This should put your eyes about in the middle of the windshield.

Thanks for the tip. These are not the fully electric articulating seats so to get good road vision (for 5'6" people like us) the seat has to come up. The seat back is above the head regardless and we are well below the inside of the roof.

In that case, may I suggest a helmet?

When you are 6'6", there is nowhere close to that kind of room for our heads. Tradeoffs! this by the way was the only sport convertible I could fit into.
