Leather seats treatment

The leather seats (the drivers seat mostly) in my seven year old car got cracks and ugly wholes so I want to prevent this in my new car.

What is the best way to preserv the leather seats?

Sorry if this has been posted before.

I've used Zaino leather conditioner for about 15 years and have always had good results.

probably not realistic to get it in Sweden though.

All you really need to do it a good cleaning and conditioning on the seats several times a year. Lexol is probably the easiest to get leather care products out there, at least it is in the US. It's not the best but it'll do for the most part to keep your leather conditioned. Mothers and Meguiar aren't bad OTC products either if that is your only choices.

Thanks for the tips. I'll check around locally. I guess what is common is different in every country. I just want to keep this new car as mint as I can.

I use products from http://www.liquidleather.com/

Tip: cheaper to buy directly from England and fast delivery 2-3 days.

Car smells like new even after 2 years. It does not smell chemical as the BMW products.

Also a lot of info about how to take care of your leather on the website.

I use GT12, GT11 and GT13

Also easier to work in to the leather.

I bought Autoglym Leather Cleaner and Leather Care Balm . Expensive, but hopefully works well. Will do the seats tomorrow.
