Why not use the red minivan parked next to the Z4?

That's my wife's Lexus (actually, the dogs') which I usually borrow for this purpose, but it wasn't available when I needed it.

I daily drive my z4. I use it to grab things from restaurant depot for my restaurant. I do it weekly and I fill the trunk/front passenger side. People think I am nuts. But I have perfected the art of filling it
Keep it up! At the end of the day, its just a car. Gotta enjoy it! |

Good to see people being versatile with their Z4. I don't think I could bring myself to do it. I had to move a big (empty no less) server box between buildings on campus last week and I was paranoid about scuffing the alcantara. So for me 2x4's would be right out.
I guess if there was really something I needed to do & the CRV was not available I could, teeth gnashing all the way... |

My Z is, in fact, my only car... so I have no other choice when home projects beckon. Don't forget, you have floor mats which do an excellent job cradling lumber against the read bulkhead/deck

That's a great pic. I love seeing people actually using their cars, even if it isn't in a usual way. I've made runs like these in some of my cars (Vipers, Lambos, Vettes and a few others). I made a run to Home Depot a few months ago in my Lambo. Left with more things then I had planned to get. I had the passenger window rolled down and a box sticking out of it. I was getting some very crazy looks. Lol. It was great.

I find it amazing that in a country where you can get soup delivered to your home, you have to use a Z4 to move hardware....
