Hit a piece of tire, need suggestions

I hit a rather large piece of a blown out tire this morning. I could not avoid it or I would have hit a car. I have paint protection film on the front of my car. I got most of the marring off from the tire quite easily but there is some residual that would drive any car nut, nuts.....The marring is basically on the lower right bumper with worse marring underneath the bumper (which you can't see). The paint protection film is not scraped at all which is good. Any idea on a product I could use to remove the rest of the marring? I tried paint protection film cleaner, P21s total auto wash and clay. I suspect an orbital polisher would do the trick but I don't have one. Bummer, it is not major at all but it still bothers me. . If I can't get if off I'll take it to a detailer but I'd rather do it myself if possible.

There should be some polish that can be applied by hand especially if it is only on a small, specific location on the car. It wouldn't be as good w/o an orbital polisher but you'll like get it out by yourself. I'd certainly give some of those heavier compounds a try, I can't say I'm an expert though I'd still say do some more research before doing it yourself just to be on the safe side.

If you say there is no damage to the paint work just the marks then I am sure you can find products from 3m which are some of the best detailing products available....... a good scratch remover meguir's or farcla will not be to coarse to break the lacquer layer!!!

Try Novus plastic polish, since your trying to clean up your clear film. It comes in a kit with three grades. You can get a kit from Amazon.

Try a Mr. Clean magic eraser. I have used it on my boat to take off rubber marks from a black rubber bow roller, and it works beautifully. I use this product on any smooth surface to take off marks that won't come off with conventional washing.

Soon as I read the post I thought of this stuff.

It's called something else I can't remember here in the UK but it really does take off rubber scuff marks with ease.

Should work a treat.
