e89 soft close doors

Seems guys in thailand figured it out. fast forward to 40 second mark. I would love to get this on my z4. Group buy?

Interesting... But what's the point of soft close? To reduce slightly the thump of the door closing? Who minds that really...

It's kind of like when you don't quite push the door hard enough to latch, no worries. I agree, no biggie.

I thought so too.. then I got X5 and 5er loaners with this feature.... Kind of nice to have and easy to get used to!

My .2 cents. Not for me. Another electrical gremlin to fail and more weight inducing parts added to an already porky weight sports car.
