Winter Wheel Set

Hello, I am looking for a winter wheel set and would like to have an OEM wheel package. According to the national BMW website, this is the only option available for the E89. http://www.bmw.ca/ca/en/owners/acces...spoke_290.html

My concern is these are 17" wheels and I have a 2011 Z4 35is.....will these clear the brakes??

If these do not work, I guess I have to go for aftermarket wheels (VMR, other suggestions?)

this spec sheet shows that the 35i and 35is have the same brake size. I had a 35i with 17" wheels, so you should def be able to put that size on your 35is.

OK, cool....just hard to find something concrete that will provide proof a 17" wheels works on the 'is'

I guess it is not something people want to do, downsize their OEM wheels...but I need it for winter driving.

Thanks for the PDF, I think I saw that is another thread....the help on this site is top notch.

I seriously doubt all 17" wheels will fit a 35i, but I had a set of aftermarket 17-inchers on my 35is last winter. They cleared by about 3mm. I currently run 18" winter wheels because I couldn't find any others that would definitely fit and I needed to put a set on the old Z4 for my son, so ordered new ones for myself. I'm too cheap to get wheels from the dealer and hated the look of what they offered in any case.
