Buzzing sound?

Shut the car off earlier today, walked out to get something out of the boot when I heard a buzzing sound coming from the front.
It was coming from behind the kidney grills by the radiator. It wasn't very loud but noticeable even from the back of the car. Sounded like an electric motor of some sort that was stuck or something.
Started the car, waited about half a minute, turned off and it was still there. Opened up the bonnet for closer inspection and while scratching my head, it stopped after roughly 2 minutes.

Any thoughts on what it could be?

The turbos on the N54 run for a bit after you shut the engine down so that they can cool down. If you don't have turbos I have no idea.

I'll obviously call my dealer. Just wanted to see if anybody had additional information so I'd know how to approach my tech. Nothing wrong with that.

I've got an idea. Maybe he had a question he wanted to ask on a forum.

I guess that's illegal.
