ITG drop in air filter oil
Hey guys,
So I was given a new ITG drop in air filter but it was not factory oiled. What kind of air filter oil and brand should I purchase to oil the filter? Thanks, H |

So after more focused online searching, this is what I found. No-toil evolution aerosol air filter oil. Works for any type of foam air filter apparently.

You may run into a risk of over oiling the filter. If the plastic bag that covers the product is bone dry and the filter feels dry to the touch, I would have it exchanged. The filter appears to be a disposable one that supposedly to last 3 times longer than the paper filter, but it doesn't seem to be designed to be re-oiled. You don't want excess oil to contaminate the sensors in the air intake.

You don't want to risk choking the airflow or not having good filtration properties. Order a K&N drop in from knfilters.com. It comes properly pre-oiled and fits perfectly FWIW.
